In continuation of its Y-series, Vivo recently added the Y32t to its mid-range collection. The handset comes with a MediaTek chip, dual cameras, and more. The device is something of an upgrade to the Vivo Y21t, which was released in China at the start of this year. Here are the key features and highlights of Y32t.
Vivo Y32t's core performance relies on the Helio G70 chipset. It's an old-yet-sturdy octa-core chipset based on 12nm fabrication. Joining the processor is a fast LPDDR4x 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There's a 256GB variant as well, but it rocks Qualcomm's super-efficient Snapdragon 680 SoC.
With a nearly 90% screen-to-body and 20:9 wide aspect ratio, the front of the Y32t boasts an immersive 6.51-inch screen. The resolution on this IPS screen tops out at 720p resolution. Vivo's typical V-notch on top hides an 8MP selfie camera.
Flip the new Vivo 4G mobile to find a protruded dual-camera array. There are two sensors; the first is optical with a 13MP resolution, while the second is a 2MP macro shooter. The Vivo Y32t comes in light blue and midnight black shades.
As for the battery, it has a capacity of 5,000mAh with a charging speed of 18W. However, the device still has an ancient micro USB port on board. A fingerprint scanner on the side and face lock ensure privacy. Extras include dual SIM with 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Although Y32t is currently available only in China, it has the potential to launch in other Asian regions, including Pakistan. Price-wise, the Helio G70 (8+128) Vivo Y32t variant costs around 157 USD, and Snapdragon 680 (8+256) costs 186 USD translating to almost 34,800 and 41,200 PKR, respectively.
