Following a star-studded promotional campaign for the Vivo Y33s, Vivo just launched the phone in Pakistan. The Y33s comes two months after the Vivo V21e and is now available to pre-order nationwide. Our readers will note that WhatMobile previously leaked this exact timeline.
The pre-registration window lasts until October 4. Sales begin on October 5. Vivo Y33s sports a flat, chrome frame and an inconspicuous fingerprint scanner built into the power button. The shell is also flat, featuring a sunburst satin texture in Mirror Black and frosted AG holographic Midday Dream. Vivo Y33s is light on its footprint too. The 8mm thick body weighs only 182g.
We’re looking at a 6.58” IPS LCD that delivers an FHD+ resolution. It peaks at a 1080P resolution and houses its front camera inside a notch. The 16MP front camera doubles for the Face Wake feature.
Three lenses — 50MP wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP portrait — make a triple-camera cluster on the back. The Y33s Joins the Vivo price list with the typical ‘cyclops eye’ design. Night mode is enabled for both the front and back cameras. Software magic stabilizes video shots.
Inside the Vivo Y33s, the Helio G80 powers everything. You get 8GB of memory, extended up to 4GB by taking it out of the idle storage. The 128GB of storage is expandable up to 1TB. HyperEngine Game delivers smoother, more responsive gameplay. FunTouch OS 11 runs on this hardware.
Vivo promises all-day battery life via the 5000 mAh battery, 18W Fast Charge, and Energy Guardian feature. The baseline Vivo Y33s starts at Rs. 37,999.
