Vivo’s habitual routine of making spin-offs and rebuilds is afoot once again. The chain’s mega-seller Vivo Y35 officially appeared in August for the first time, and a few months down the road, Y35 5G comes out with a familiar design and different specs. It doesn’t end there; now, a new spin-off abounds.
From a recent break, we’ve discovered that a mid-ranger dubbed Vivo Y35m is in the works, boasting almost similar specs to the originals. The model number V2230A has been doing certification runs in China for a few weeks now. China Telcom link finally gave away “Vivo Y35m” as the model’s final marketing name. That concludes its imminent arrival in China.
Ahead of Y35m’s official release, the product listing on the link gave away the phone’s entire spec sheet. The device has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, spanning the front with a V-notch. Design-wise, It looks identical to Y35 5G.
Y35m leverages a 5G-enabled MTK Dimensity 700 chipset for an effortless user experience. The CPU hooks with up to 8GB RAM, 256GB in-built storage, and a 5000mAh cell under the hood. The Vivo Y new model bears a standard fast-charging option at 18 watts.
Additionally, Vivo Y35m expands storage with a dedicated SD-card slot. As for the camera stats, the device comes with a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual back camera. 164.05 x 75.6 x 8.15mm/185g are its approximate measurements.
China Telcom listing reveals its imminent variants and pricing details as well. In four different configurations, the phone will cost $215 for 4+128 GB, $230 for 6+128 GB, $243 for 8+128 GB, and $258 for 8+256 GB. Assuming it launches in Pakistan, its respective costs will translate to ~49,000, ~52,000, ~55,000, and ~58,000 PKR without taxes. The standard Y35 edition was unveiled last month and is already available at the local online and offline stores. Vivo Y35 price in Pakistan is Rs. 62,999.
