Vivo Y36C Unveils in China as a Low-Price 5G Smartphone with Dimensity 6300

Vivo Y36C is their new product from overseas. It’s right up there with Vivo Y36 4G and Y36 5G. It’s yet another low-price 5G phone. And there’s nothing to write home about. Vivo Y36C nails the basics, and we have an HD+ screen here with a 5000mAh cell that powers its hardware.

Internals are up first. We see a Dimensity 6300 engine packed at the helm. It integrates a Mali G57 GPU, and we have up to 2.4GHz CPU clock speed. It’s mainly a better version of Y36 5G because that one only had Dimensity 6020 and Android 13.

From what we know, four memory options come with its Moon Shadow Black, Distant Mountain Green, and Diamond Purple hues. A flat design and a plastic shell make space for two camera lenses. One of those is a 50 MP first camera. The second one is auxiliary.

Vivo budget latest phone has a decent display scale. It has a notch, sure, but the quality is tolerable for the price. A notched header for a 5 MP selfie camera, a 6.56” HD+ screen, and a fast 90Hz refresh rate all sound great. And we haven’t even mentioned its low blue light certificate from TUV.

Vivo Y36C’s 5000mAh cell can last a full day, if not less. A 20W charging speed here tops up the battery. But we were most surprised by its IP54 dust and water protection. They debuted Y36C in China first, and its 6/128GB variant cost is ~126 USD (~PKR 35,000).
