Vivo Y37 Pro Debuts with 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, and 6000mAh Cell

When they released the Y300 Pro yesterday, no one would've guessed that the Vivo Y37 Pro 5G also got green-lit for a debut. They made it official some hours ago, but most of the attention and headlines went to Y300 Pro. This one got overshadowed, probably because of its entry-tier specs.

They used a 6.68" IPS LCD with Y37 Pro. It's HD+ only, but you do get a 120Hz refresh rate from the panel. They've worked to trim the bezels and give it a uniform feel. Also, the Y37 Pro slots in a 5 MP selfie snapper in a punch hole, so the screen is unobstructed.

While we are on the topic of cameras, we should also let you know that price to value, Y37 Pro is a bit of a letdown in this category. Only a 50 MP installation exists on the back. And there's a lowly 2 MP depth sensor in the second lens, and that setup will only let you record at 1080p on the Vivo 5G new budget mobile

Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is 5G-ready but not the best you could've had at this price. From a GPU standpoint, it can never compete with Dimensity 6300, which is usually a go-to choice for Vivo budget 5G models.

A 6000mAh battery onboard does have the prospect of longer screen times than usual. And there's 44W charging for fast top-ups. A fingerprint ID on the side edge and an IP64 rating are also here when needed. 8 GB + 256 GB as a solo option, the Vivo Y37 Pro costs CNY1,799 (~PKR 70,000).
