Vivo's endless spree of budget releases continues. Yet again, the brand has expanded its mid-range handset collection with two new additions, the Y52t & Y32t. The former supports 5G, while the latter only comes with 4G bands. Conclusively, both new siblings of the Vivo Y21t have different SoCs built-in. Here's a list of features the Y52t offers.
The new Y-series phone, Vivo Y52t, boasts a 6.51-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution. The refresh rate tops at 60Hz, and its thicker-than-average bezels have a drop notch bleeding into the screen. It has a 20:9 aspect and a nearly 90% screen-to-body ratio, similar to its counterpart, Y32t.
Vivo Y52t possesses MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC and runs Android 12 x OriginOS Ocean out of the box. It brings 8GB of RAM plus 128GB or 256GB of internal storage with a bonus microSD card slot that can expand storage up to 1TB.
For optics, the rear plate on Y52t has a dual-cam setup (a 13MP primary camera followed by a secondary 2MP macro sensor). It runs on a 5,000mAh battery capable of charging at 10-Watts via a Type-C port. Its forehead bares a 5MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
A fingerprint scanner on the side and face unlock on Y52t ensure privacy. Extras include dual SIM + 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It ships in Ice Lake, Black, and Coconut Peach finish.
Y52t has already initialized online sales in China hosted on Vivo's official website. Price-wise, its (8+128GB) variant costs around 200 USD, and (8+256GB) costs 230 USD, translating to almost 47,600 and 54,700 PKR, respectively. We will let you know if Y52t's launch trajectory crosses Pakistan.
