The all-new Y53s is a mid-range phone that recently made its global debut, and it’s now available for pre-order in Pakistan. The successor to the Vivo Y51s features a typical Vivo design, gaming MediaTek silicon, and quick charging. We have the pricing and specs to report.
Starting with the screen, we’re looking at a 6.58” IPS LCD. It delivers a Full HD resolution, produces a wide range of colors with P3 gamut space, and houses the front camera inside a tiny notch. Vivo Y53s selfie lens has a 16MP sensor behind it.
Naturally, the shell is polycarbonate and chamfered along the edges. Vivo has painted it in Fantastic Rainbow and Deep Sea Blue shades — both sporting a sunburst finish. At 8.38mm of depth and 190g of weight, the build is nothing special. We find a side-facing thumbprint reader etched into the frame, advertised to unlock your Y53s in just 0.24 seconds.
The new addition to the Vivo price list has a 64MP triple-lens setup on the back. The cluster of three lenses and an LED flash are arranged inside the camera island — a 64MP f/1.79 wide camera and two low-res portrait and macro sensors. Vivo Y53s can shoot in Super Night Mode on both front and back lenses. Software magic tracks eyes and stabilizes video.
It’s all powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 and a massive 5000 mAh battery. Features like the Ultra Game Mode boost performance when needed. FunTouchOS 11 runs on the Vivo Y53s. And it flash-charges over 33W. Vivo promises a 70% top-up in just 41 minutes and 14.3 hours of video streaming on a single charge.
You get 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage, expandable with a microSD card. Vivo Y53s is priced at Rs. 40,999.
