Following the Vivo X80 5G release in Pakistan, Vivo has quietly revealed the Y72t in its home market. The 5G-capable mid-ranger features a 50MP camera setup, an FHD+ resolution, and a massive battery. Here's all you need to know about the Y72t.

The Vivo Y72t boasts a 6.58-inch LCD display, the resolution peaks at a sharper FHD+, producing a pixel density of 401 ppi. Supporting a low refresh rate of just 60Hz, the phone features a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. The massive battery makes for a chunky 9.17mm frame, while the mobile phone itself weighs 200g.

The Y72t smartphone houses an 8MP front shooter inside its notch. It sports a 50-megapixel main lens and an additional 2-megapixel macro sensor is present on the back. All these cameras can record video in Full HD. The phone is powered by Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top. Vivo's 5G new model incorporates a fingerprint sensor on the side for added security.

The Dimensity 700 chipset drives the Y72t in combination with 8 gigs of LPDDR4x memory and 128 GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1). A colossal 6000 mAh battery powers the Y72t with 18W rapid charge capability. A dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB C connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack are among the additional features. The Y72t is a rebadged version of Vivo's Y55s 5G, released in December last year.

The Vivo Y72t is available in two different configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB  and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. They cost 1,400 Yuan (~Rs. 42,000) and 1,600 Yuan (~Rs. 48,000), accordingly. Interstellar Powder, Deep Sea Black, and Blue Sea color combinations are offered.
