Right after the Vivo Y21 release in Pakistan, the brand just dropped a  budget 5G phone in the Chinese market — the latest in a line of many this year. It’s a lightweight, slim phone featuring fast charging, the upgraded OriginOS, and MediaTek silicon. The global release is yet to be announced.

Vivo Y76s is the first Vivo phone to launch with the Dimensity 810. It’s a mid-range 5G mobile platform built on a 6nm process node. The chip is hooked up to a 4100 mAh battery, powered by 44W flash charge technology. You get 8GB of memory (extended virtually by 4GB) and 128GB/256GB of storage. OriginOS 1.0 is the custom UI running on top of  Android.

The design takes inspiration from the flagship X70 series. Vivo Y76s has a chamfered shell available in Galaxy Blue, Starry Night Black, and Star Diamond White. At 7.79mm of depth and 175g of weight, the phone has a featherweight footprint.

The side power button on latest Vivo 2021 mobile pulls double duty as the fingerprint sensor. Also included is a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C interface. Two lenses and an LED flash module are housed inside the accented camera plate. It’s a 50MP wide and 4cm macro duo.

Flip the Vivo Y76s over to reveal its notch and the 8MP inside it. The front camera also powers the Face Wake feature. The V cutout bleeds into a 6.58” IPS LCD that delivers a 1080P resolution, fills 20:9 aspect ratio, and refreshes at a standard 60Hz. The phone starts at 1,799 Yuan (~ Rs. 48,200.)
