Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro Debut with Flagship Chips, Stunning Displays, and HyperFast Charging

Xiaomi just rounded off the Mi 11 flagship series with two new models — the Xiaomi 11T and the Xiaomi 11T Pro. The T-edition phones are offered at a more value-friendly price point without trading off many features or specs. We’ll take a quick look at both these alleged flagship killers.

Xiaomi 11T

Studio-grade camera experience, or as Xiaomi likes to call it, ‘Cinemagic’ is the one big highlight of this new series. We’re looking at a cluster of three lenses: a 108MP wide camera, a 120° ultra-wide lens, and a 3-7 cm tele-macro camera.

An array of three microphones lets you capture clear audio, even from a distance. Plus, AI wizardry supports a host of one-touch videography effects. The 16MP front camera is housed inside an O-hole. Night mode works with the rear and front cameras.

The screen is a 6.67” AMOLED panel, built on the same specs as the original Mi 11. It’s one of the most advanced displays from Xiaomi, featuring a 1080P resolution, an unmatched 480Hz touch sampling rate, a peak 120Hz AdaptiveSync frame rate, and 1000 nits of brightness.

Xiaomi Mi 11T produces a high contrast ratio and over 1 billion colors. Gorilla Glass Victus, the toughest there is, protects this panel. Plus, you can playback HDR10+ content on this device.

The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra powers the Mi 11T. It works with 8GB of memory and 128GB/256GB of blazing-fast UFS 3.1 storage. The 5000 mAh battery inside the phone charges over 67W technology.

Xiaomi promises a 100% recharge in just 36 minutes. And safety is ensured with a dual pump design and multi-tab winding.

You can pick from three anti-glare finishes — Moonlight White, metal brushed Meteorite Gray and the iridescent Celestial Blue. The Mi 11T frame also includes a side-facing thumbprint reader and Dolby Atmos Dual Speakers. The baseline edition starts at €500 (~ Rs. 100,000.)

Xiaomi 11T Pro

The Snapdragon 888 is the engine inside the Mi 11T Pro, the top-shelf 5nm chip from Qualcomm. The phone packs the same battery capacity as the Mi 11T.

But over the wire, the Xiaomi 11T Pro charges at 120W. This cutting-edge HyperCharge technology cuts the top-up time down to just 17 minutes. Wireless charging support is missing.

The screen has the dimensions and specifications of the standard Xiaomi 11T. The same goes for the camera system, except the wide lens has a 108MP sensor behind it.

The 11T Pro also offers Dolby Atmos support for its dual speakers, tuned by Harman Kardon. Not to mention the three finishes that are shared between the two models. Multitasking memory goes up to 12GB. The starter Mi 11T Pro will set you back €650 (~ Rs. 130,000.)
