After having some renders and even leaked cases, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra has finally emerged in the real world photos. An unknown user with early access to the device ended up sharing the images on Chinese social networks.
We are looking at an exaggerated camera bump that occupies much of the upper back on the Ultra edition of the Xiaomi 12. Sitting on top of a protruding rectangle, the circular camera island features three cameras with lots of sensors and an LED flash.
The Leica branding is also visible in the top corner. The device appears quite premium considering the ceramic white finishing.
Looking at the front of the latest Xiaomi 5G mobile, the dot cut-out is readily visible, corroborating the 12 Ultra to arrive with a punch-hole selfie snapper instead of an under-display shooter. The comparison of the device with the Galaxy S22 Ultra shows that both should be of the same size.
As for the technical specifications, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to be announced with a 6.73-inch LTPO OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, and a 50MP primary camera setup.
In another leak, a renowned leaker by the name of Digital Chat Station shared Battery and charging details of the 12 Ultra. He tips the handset to arrive with a 4860 mAh battery featuring a staggering wired rapid charge rate of 120W along with a 50W wireless quick-charge.
Lastly, we will also have the Android 12 operating system running under the MIUI 13 interface. However, there is no official confirmation as Xiaomi is still silent on the Xiaomi 12 Ulta's Global debut.
