The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is imminent, as confirmed by the partner brand Leica on their official Twitter page. However, the chain itself has kept the details as vague as possible. The community should expect it to arrive sometime this month, not only in China but also in international markets.
The news has everyone excited as Xiaomi bid for the top spot in the Android smartphone market. The incoming 13 Ultra will potentially challenge the reigning king, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, with a bold new appearance and bleeding edge camera technology.
The images from today's leak are more or less "speculative." With the brand keeping details under wraps, no one knows exactly how the phone looks. Here are some of the 3D renders shared by SmartPrix and OnLeaks.
The mockups align with a recently exposed real-life image of the 13 Ultra. You first notice the phone's double camera bump with a slightly lifted chassis. And right on top of it is the raised camera module. The phone's thickness will allow it to use more area from that 1-inch IMX989 sensor. It's worth noting that the Xiaomi mobile price for a phone with these features is quite competitive compared to other brands in the market.
According to the report's CAD measurements, the phone has dimensions 163.2 x 74.6 x 9.57mm, without the hump induced by the camera. With that included, the phone comes out at 15.61mm — for reference, that's almost as chunky as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 when folded.
In addition to the CAD images, some of the Ultra's storage options and pricing details have leaked. Spilling those details is a Weibo tipster claiming that the phone's entry-level variant will boast 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. And the maxed-out 13 Ultra variant is supposed to bring 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.
Regarding pricing, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra Starter droid should cost around 6,300 yuan converting to ~900 USD (~260,000 PKR). The highest-end storage-packed phone will extend the price to 8000 yuan, ~1165 USD, ~335,000 PKR. It will be an exciting month with the phone nearing its unveil.
