Digital Chat Station is at it again, and in his latest Weibo post, there’s confirmation of the Xiaomi 15 Pro and 15 Ultra’s battery stats. There’s been little talk on the subject, and the leaks primarily revolve around the SoC and display section. So, DCS’s input on the topic is a welcome change.
DCS believes a ~6000mAh silicon battery is likely with one of the 15 series phones. And the other will be a ~6200mAh silicon cell. Seeing the typical way Xiaomi does things, we can only assume that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a bigger 6200mAh cell.
And the silicon battery with 6000mAh capacity may belong to Xiaomi 15 Pro. As for why Xiaomi is suddenly bumping the battery size, analysts believe the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 engine has something to do with it. Both flagship models have it, and rumors suggest that the SoC is a power hog.
SD 8 Gen 4 will need more juice to keep the Xiaomi flagship new mobile running all day. The newer flagships in 2025 will be a turning point for mobile processing. These battery stats are a fine addition to Xiaomi 15 Pro’s expected specifications. We hear the phone has multiple 50MP units on the back.
One of those is a primary 50 MP unit. The rest to join are a 5X periscope 50MP telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide. Xiaomi 15 Pro may be 8.5mm thick and 220 grams. And with that chassis, you can expect an OLED 2k resolution screen at a 120Hz fast refresh rate. Of course, these aren’t official details, so we suggest you take them with a hint of salt.
