Xiaomi 15 Ultra might be ready for a debut in China. 3C, the Chinese electronics regulatory authority, has certified the phone now, so the launch could be locked in for the next month or so. We hear that the phone will pitch itself against Oppo’s best Find X8 Ultra or Vivo’s X200 Ultra.
3C cleared the previous Xiaomi 14 Ultra in February this year, the Chinese launch happened in the same month, and the global debut happened right after. But 15 Ultra got the clearance early this time, giving a nod to the rumors about its early arrival this time.
This certification could mean the launch is happening as early as January 2025, but this rumor still needs confirmation from more sources. 3C, as usual, mentions the charging speeds for Xiaomi 15 Ultra, though it is atypical to see two listings for the same phone.
‘25010PN30C’ and ‘25019PN30C’ are the two model codes separately assigned to Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s dual satellite options. Yes! The Xiaomi's new 5G phone has satellite connectivity and one of the models can make calls via Tiantong satellite. The other can make calls through the same satellite but use Beidou’s satellite for text messages as well.
They used MDY-14-EC charger support for Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This adapter can do 20V at 4.5A, which means the charging speeds can reach 90W. It’s true for both the models in this 3C certification. This phone might hit the global shops after the announcement at the Mobile World Congress in February 2025.
