Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro have already gone official, and the one remaining unreleased, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, has popped up in a very promising camera leak right after. Folks at XiaomiTime spilled the beans on four of the Ultra’s rear camera sensors and this leak is causing quite a commotion.
It seems that the rear main lens on 15 Ultra will be home to a LYT-900 sensor, the latest and the best in line from Sony, and we hear this one can snap images at 50 MP. They have made a special priority out of its low-light performance and will probably show its best when 15 Ultra comes out.
Of course, there are three other neighbouring sensors on Xiaomi's new 5G phone and one of them seems to be a 200 MP Samsung HP9 that they want to use under a periscope telephoto lens. 5X zoomer with this sort of resolution; we’ve only seen it once on Vivo X100 Ultra.
There’s also a second telephoto, but this is a 3X zoomer 50 MP and probably has a Sony IMX 858. Rear side, the fourth and last lens will be your ultrawide snapper Samsung ISOCELL JN5, and it will also be 50 MP in resolution.
You’ll be able to count five total lenses on the Mi 15 Ultra, the selfie shooter will also be one of them. This seems to be from Omnivision as per the leak, a 32MP OV32B sensor hidden in a punch-hole. To put a fine point on it, everything about this setup screams cutting-edge.
