Digital Chat Station is the source for today’s leak. Faux leather and Glass backplates are nothing new. And Xiaomi has been using them for generations. DCS believes that Xiaomi 15 Ultra will bear one more — a peak-quality Ceramic back design.
Faux leather will make the most grip-able design, the Glass back will be a visual treat, and the most distinguishable among all will be a ceramic build. We’ve seen the industry’s growing positive attitude toward ceramics. People believe their use is indispensable. These designs are better at handling wear and tear. And then, there’s bonus heat dissipation.
Better designs won’t be all for the Ultra’s upgrade package. Leaks point to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip at its helm. So, it will be at the bleeding edge. Next, the rumor mill believes QHD+ 2k resolution is due for the Xiaomi 5G's latest mobile’s front panel.
That camera bump will be chunky, seeing the improvements Xiaomi has planned for the lenses. An earlier report ratted out Ultra’s camera specs, and the main highlight of that leak was a 200 MP periscope telephoto. This is a record number.
