Xiaomi’s global rollout for the flagship Mi 11 series is still underway, but the brand isn’t done with their previous-gen Mi 10 series just yet. The official launch timeline and teasers for the brand new Mi 10S recently appeared on Xiaomi’s social media.

The phone is debuting on March 10 in China. One Xiaomi official has previously gone on record to say that the Xiaomi Mi 10S runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip; and that its speakers are tuned by Harman-Kardon (much like their latest flagship Mi 11 is.)

For our readers out of the loop, the Snapdragon 870 is essentially an overclocked Snapdragon 865+. So while not quite on par with the Snapdragon 888, the SD870 is a flagship chip in its own right.

Thanks to the Mi 10S certifications and benchmarks, we’ve also learned that the new Xiaomi Mi 10T sibling features 6GB of memory and Android11. Speculation also points to a 5000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging support for the device.

Xiaomi Mi 10S is seen in three different colors — white, charcoal, and blue. Its quad-camera is encased in a stretched-out camera island with silver accents. You can make out '108MP' stamped next to the primary camera, but the setup doesn’t have a periscope lens. To make an educated guess, we’re looking at a wide-angle, macro, and portrait array.

No physical fingerprint scanner to be seen anywhere in the promotional posters suggests an optical scanner integrated into the Mi 10S OLED screen. As seen in its certification images on TENNA, the display also has a hole-punch.
