Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 Certified by Bluetooth SIG; Global Debut Might be Coming Soon

The Mi Mix 4, Xiaomi’s first commercial smartphone with an under-display selfie camera, recently debuted in China. Rumor had it that the next-gen flagship is limited only to the domestic market. But Xiaomi is securing international certifications for the Mi Mix 4, suggesting that the phone might be released globally after all.

Bluetooth SIG certified the Mi MIX 4 under the model number “2106118C.” Since it’s a connectivity document, it doesn’t contain any details beyond specifying Bluetooth 5.2.

Xiaomi phones launch without Google services in China. So Mi MIX 4 was also featured on the Google Play Console listings under the same model number. We should hear more details in the coming weeks.

To review, the Mi MIX 4 uses next-gen circuitry and a pixel grid design to maintain a glitch-free and seamless display above the under-screen camera. It features a 6.7” AMOLED panel that peaks at 1080P resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of brightness. It’s protected with Gorilla Glass Victus and supports Dolby Vision HDR.

A versatile camera cluster made of three lenses is mounted on the back. It’s an array of 108MP wide OIS-assisted lenses, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP periscope-telephoto lens for lossless zooming.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ (an overclocked SD888) is at the heart of the Mi MIX 4. You get 12GB LPDDR5 memory and 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. MIUI 12.5 runs on the MIX 4 out of the box. It’s all powered by a 4500 mAh battery, 120W wired, and 50W wireless charging.
