Among other high-end products, Xiaomi is launching the Mi MIX 4 at their launch event today. Featuring Xiaomi’s first under-display camera technology, the MIX 4 offers an uninterrupted edge-to-edge screen. Also, its specs were leaked ahead of today’s launch. The phone is very much a flagship device.
Starting with the highlight of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4, we’re looking at a 6.67” OLED screen that curves along the edges. It delivers a Full HD resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a responsive 480Hz touch sampling rate. Xiaomi houses a fingerprint scanner and a 20MP sensor underneath it.
An array of three cameras is mounted on the backplate, featuring a 100MP Samsung-made HMX sensor assisted with OIS, an 8MP periscope-telephoto lens with up to 5x lossless zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide freeform camera.
The performance offered by the Mi MIX 4 is second to none. Based on raw benchmarks alone, the upcoming addition to the Xiaomi price list outperforms every Android phone on the market right now.
It’s the first to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ (an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 888.) Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is also a powerhouse in its charging features. The 4500 mAh battery inside the phone can flash charge at 120W over the wire and at 50W wirelessly.
Plus, you get blazing fast UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 memory. Xiaomi’s typical flagship feature set is included: dual speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, NFC, dual SIM 5G, and premium vibration motor. It’s toughened with Gorilla Glass Victus and an IP68 rating against dust and water. The Mi MIX 4 is offered in Ceramic Gray, Ceramic White, and Ceramic Black.
