Apparently, Xiaomi is rebranding Mi CC9 Pro (which is being unveiled on November 5) outside of China as Mi Note 10 and has also confirmed that this global variant will be launched on November 14. But the Chinese brand has now announced the details for the optics package & the chipset powering the smartphone. As per these official confirmations, the phone will be debuting with the world’s first 108-megapixel camera, powered by Snapdragon 730G.

An official tweet from Xiaomi verifies the rumors that have been floating around the web these past few days. Pictured below, you’re looking at a Penta-lens package sitting on the top-left corner of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. The vertically aligned setup features a primary lens that produces a truly jaw-dropping 108 megapixels and is rounded off by a 20-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor and a 5-megapixel super-telephoto lens with up to 50X digital zoom. The remaining two lenses being a 12-megapixel portrait lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.

In the simplest of terms, the zooming capabilities of this camera hardware are staggering which are expected to be carrying a hefty Xiaomi Price tag. In a promo poster earlier, the company also shows off a clear shot of a boat on the sea, taken from at least 500 meters away.

Building on its predecessors, the Mi Note 10 borrows OIS from previous Mi Note renditions. Two of the five camera modules will come equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a four-axis motor which should keep your shots shake-free and produce better results in low-light conditions.

One of these modules could be the primary lens, while the other one is expected to be the 5-megapixel super-telephoto lens. In a similar vein, the 108-megapixel the ISOCELL Bright HMX module is developed by Samsung, as is the 12-megapixel S5K2L7 lens. Last but not least, the 20-megapixel ultrawide IMX350 sensor is manufactured by Sony.

Xiaomi has confirmed now that it'll be arriving with Snapdragon 730G Chipset. Apart from that, the phone also got spotted on Geekbench earlier this week, giving us a peek into the spec sheet of this non-flagship. As per the test runs, the phone will be sporting a 6.47 OLED display that curves slightly along the edges, along with a circular-drop notch housing the 32-megapixel front-facing selfie unit.
