Xiaomi POCO C40 New Teasers Confirm 6,000mAh Battery, Launch Date Revealed

Following a series of certifications across the globe, the POCO C40 finally got an official release date. According to two teasers released by the manufacturer itself, the Poco M4 Pro's inexpensive cousin will be revealed to the global public on June 16th.

The Xiaomi POCO C40 Launch event is said to be held in India and broadcast to the rest of the world through the Chinese manufacturer's social media pages. The shared teasers reveal the screen size and type along with the unveil date, also confirming the battery capacity and the rear design of the device.


As per the Official teasers shared on Poco global, the all-new C40 will be announced with a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a drop dot notch housing the selfie snapper inside. The handset will feature a 6,000 mAh battery with a box-shaped camera plate, while there is also a fingerprint reader on the back.


The manufacturer has not shared any price tag yet but expects a lot to be teased before the launch, revealing complete specs one by one. Earlier reports suggested an unknown JR510 processor based on ARMv8 structure, clocked at a maximum speed of 2.00 GHz.

Other rumored specifications include a 50 MP main camera setup and an 8 MP front camera. The operating system could be based on the Android Go Edition with MIUI Go on top

The POCO C40 is expected to be priced anywhere below US$128 or under 25,000 Pakistani rupees, considering its basic specs. That's all about the details for now, but we'll surely update you as soon as we hear more about the price or availability.
