Their Poco C75 has come out of the veils now with an eerily familiar design, a Redmi 14C rebrand perhaps, seeing all the details. This didn’t surprise us since Poco has done it many times with the C series already. Aside from all that, the Poco C75 is still a great-for-value option on paper.
They gave C75 a behemoth 6.88” LCD and it gets you a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, or even 600nits brightness, all the bells and whistles of a quality product, but it’s lacking in one or two areas. Its resolution is only 720p and there’s a big notch on the forehead.
That notch or the low resolution isn’t a deal breaker, by any means, at least for its price range. Options like a 13 MP selfie cam and 50 MP primary rear shooter make up for those caveats as they can snap photos in multiple modes, and shoot 1080p videos.
Helio G81 is certainly not one of the strongest in that line, but the ‘Ultra’ revision they advertise here may have some hidden changes for a far more stable Android 14 x Hyper OS system. Gamers can also put a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU to good use on the Xiaomi new Poco phone.
Dual-Band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC support are all part of Poco C75’s hardware roster, as are the side fingerprint ID and 5160mAh cell. 18W PD charging as backup is also standard for this price range. C75’s base 6/128 GB option is $109 (~PKR 30,000), and the top 8/256 GB option is only $129 (~PKR 36,000).
