Xiaomi is gearing up to reveal its latest offering, the Poco F5 lineup expected to debut globally in the second quarter of this year. The much-anticipated launch will feature two models: the vanilla Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro and F5. Ahead of the official unveiling, a credible report has surfaced, divulging both handsets' color options and storage configurations.
Paras Guglani, the industry's infamous tipster claims that Poco F5 will offer two enticing storage configurations, including 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The F5 Pro plans to feature the same set of memory configurations as its standard counterpart.
Poco F5 and F5 Pro will offer a trifecta of sleek hues, including classic black, pristine white, and stylish blue. Notably, the models will debut as the rebranded variants of the China-exclusive Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60, with the hardware and design cloned from existing devices. Here's a little brief on the expected hardware.
Boasting stunning 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate, the F5 will offer FHD+ resolution, while Xiaomi's latest Poco mobile will bump it to QHD+ resolution.
They will run Android 13 OS x MIUI 14 right out of the box. And for the imaging, the company will endow both newcomers with 64MP OIS primary shooters, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro sensors. One has a side-facing fingerprint reader, while the other hides it under the screen.
At the core, the vanilla Poco F5 will bear Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2; meanwhile, F5 Pro will mark a flagship-level performance with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Expect both new handsets with 5,500mAh batteries and 67W charging speeds.
