Xiaomi's Poco F-series will soon broaden its horizons with the launch of two semi-premium mid-range smartphones, namely the Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro and the Poco F5. They will launch internationally, and at the moment, the brand is acquiring certification clearance from regulatory bodies in multiple regions.

Additionally, one of the devices has even appeared on Geekbench's scoreboard, heightening anticipation for their worldwide release. The latest scoresheet from their database belongs to Xiaomi 23013PC75G model. As indicated by earlier sightings, the model is Poco F5 Pro.

Per the document, Poco F5 Pro scores an exceptional 1302 points on single core and 4080 points on the multi-core test — almost equivalent to current Android flagships. The CPU info on the document confirms the SoC inside this device is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Qulacomm's highest-ranking chip for the year 2022.

The chipset has four cores peaking at 1.8GHz, three maxing out at 2.5GHz, and an alpha core that boasts a 3.0GHz clock speed. The F5 Pro variant tested here only has 12GB of memory, though rumors suggest the possibility of a 16GB option with 512Gigs of storage. The new Poco Xiaomi mobile will operate on Google's latest Android 13 OS, skinned with Poco's default UI.

Details from Geekbench entail multiple similarities between Poco F5 Pro and Redmi K60. The latter remains exclusive to China. Speculative reports suggest the upcoming device might be a rebranded version of "K60."

If the rumors are true, Poco F5 Pro might boast a QHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. With 67W charging support, the newcomer will sport a 5500mAh battery, slightly better than an average run-of-the-mill cell in Androids. And for photography, it will bring a triple camera setup.
