Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S23 FE; Feature Comparison of Two Beastly Flagships

Usama Rasool

Their new Poco F6 series gives a tough time to many high-end phones in our market. We're confident that brands in Pakistan will squeal for a long time before they snatch a win from Poco F6 or F6 Pro. They have this uncanny value-to-price ratio that bests even phones like the Galaxy S23 FE. It couldn't outdo the Poco F6 Pro on paper, not even in its best possible SD 8 Gen 1 scenario.

Display

Galaxy S23 FE does FHD+ 1080p resolution max on a 6.4" 120Hz AMOLED. But the Redmi Poco F6 Pro overshadows it entirely because it gives you up WQHD+ 1440p resolution. And a bigger 6.7" OLED, for that matter. We can see a 120Hz refresh rate similar among them. But that F6 Pro has a brightness peaking at 4000 nits, vs 1450 nits on FE.

Performance

Performance is another thing that works in F6 Pro's favor here. It's a true flagship menace in that area with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. S23 FE gives lucky ones a choice of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at best. Then there are those unlucky regions where FE deals you an Exynos 2200. And that's an even worse SoC. F6 Pro knocks the FE out of the ring in this round.

Storage and RAM

The Samsung S23 FE only goes as high as 8 GB RAM, nothing more. Double that number. You'll have a maximum RAM size for the Poco F6 Pro at 16 GB. And we haven't even mentioned the storage part. FE will tap out at 256 GB (UFS 3.1) ROM. That's falling too far behind F6 Pro's 1 TB (UFS 4.0) ROM.

Photography

Cameras are a win for Galaxy S23 FE. 50MP rear shooter is the S23 FE's most loved feature. They built an ISOCELL S5K GN3 1/1.57" sensor for it with crazy OIS stabilization. And people also love the telephoto 3x lens and the Ultrawide 12MP shooter they used here. But Poco F6 Pro only does 50MP OIS shots and 8MP ultra wides. That's nowhere near the optimum ballpark.

Battery and Software

Poco F6 Pro shoots for the win again in battery comparison. 5000 mAh battery x 120W HyperCharge makes all the difference for the F6 Pro. But S23 FE is much slower. It can only serve 4500 mAh to you. And nothing more than 25W charging. Android 14 x Hyper OS is all Poco F6 Pro. But Galaxy S23 FE only has Android 13 as default.
