Poco's upcoming smartphone, the Poco F6, is gradually unveiling its specifications, setting the stage for its much-anticipated launch. Following Xiaomi's recent announcement of the CIVI 4 Pro, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, expectations are high for other smartphones in the lineup.

Leaks and reports concerning the Poco F6 have begun to surface, shedding light on the phone’s details. Initially expected to debut in China, the smartphone, known internally by the codename "Peridot" and model number "N16T," is now being scrutinized for its camera and display specifications.

According to insights from the HyperOS source code, the Poco F6 will likely feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor as its primary camera, akin to the Realme 12 Pro 5G. Additionally, it may include an 8MP Sony IMX355 UW sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots. However, a tertiary macro lens accompanying the camera is argumentative.

The Poco F6 will draw power from the SM8635 SoC, an underpowered Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 variant. Qualcomm's recent announcement of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 confirms its inclusion in the Xiaomi flagship Poco mobile, promising commendable performance across various aspects, including ISP and modem excellence.

Display panels for the Poco F6 will be from two major manufacturers, TCL and Tianma. While specific display specifications are yet to be confirmed, the handset might deliver features comparable to its predecessor, the Poco F5, with the spotlight on the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset. Rumored to be officially unveiled between April and May, the Poco F6 will debut in multiple markets, including Japan.
