The Poco F6 series is counting the days till its official release on May 23. You should know it's not just unveiling in some distant overseas market. It's coming in our market. Pakistan is also on the list to welcome it as soon as it launches. There are formal social media posts with ETA for the event.

Also, there will be a live stream for the entire event. It will happen at 4 PM local time, and we'll get to catch the stream in Pakistan. The F6 series is mainly two phones. They are aptly labeled Poco F6 and F6 Pro. The former is semi-premium, but the Pro is a proper flagship.

Xiaomi Poco F6

The simple Poco F6 has the display stats of its forerunner. It greets you with the same 6.7-inch AMOLED panel. Its resolution is higher now at 1.5k pixels. And the rear-facing camera gets an uplift. The tri-cam system has a 50MP main driver and an 8MP secondary lens.

The camera design is unsure at the moment. We'll know more with the coming teasers. A 20MP front-facing shooter is coming if the rumors hold. We suspect the Poco F6 is just a rebadged Rredmi Turbo 3, so that will be its design.

The F6 may have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 clocker in employment with Hyper OS. Poco will sell you up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB onboard ROM. And for power to its hardware, there will be a 5,000 mAh battery x 90W charging.

Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro

Geekbench says that 16GB RAM and Android 14 operate the F6 Pro. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the engine inside it. It cranks up to 1421 and 5166 points on the benchmark. That's one proof that the Poco F6 Pro is basically a Redmi K70.

There are some rumors of a full-view 120Hz 6.7" OLED at the base of this model. And also that it might be delivering a 2K resolution. It seems plausible when you look at the vanilla F6. There's no way to be sure yet.

The 'Pro' has a memory configuration of 16GB + 512GB. And the battery charging is upgraded from 90W to 120W. If the F6 Pro is a K70 in disguise, you'll find some features here to appreciate, like the under-display fingerprint or 8K recording from the 50MP back camera.
