Xiaomi Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra Certified in Indonesia Ahead of Global Launch

Poco’s midrange X lineup has already scored two new devices this year, but now the focus is drawn back to the flagship F series. The word on the internet is that Poco has been setting the stage for it, getting Xiaomi Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra certified in the global markets before both handsets can take the next big step.

These F7 phones have been green-lit by the Indonesian Telecom Authority, which means the launch is close. And it’s not only for this particular region but globally. Let us explain. As usual, the listing had model numbers. Poco F7 Pro is model 24117RK2CG and the F7 Ultra is 24122RKC7G.

You see, these model numbers are both suffixed by the letter “G,” which means the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra are intended for global deployment. The Ultra was also under scrutiny as only a speculated device, but no more. The certification spilled the secret, and Poco will surely release an Ultra phone for the first time.

Poco and Redmi phones often overlap, so this time, Xiaomi is rebadging the Redmi K80 for F7 Pro, and Redmi K80 Pro for F7 Ultra. Of course, this is only a rumor, but if it does happen, you must know that the latest Xiaomi flagship mobile might bring a 6.67” 2K 120Hz OLED with 3200nits brightness.

Redmi K80 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the F7 Pro could use the same SoC. But the Poco F7 Ultra might be built around a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is the best Android SoC in the market right now. We are bound to see more info about these newcomers as time progresses, so stick around for more updates.
