There’s a flagship trio coming from Poco, and you may have already heard about them; after all, it’s been in the leaks constantly these past weeks. Poco F7, F7 Pro, and F7 Ultra are the three phones on approach, and someone has leaked all the specs of the Poco F7 Pro codename ‘Zorn.’
It seems that the F7 Pro is just a Xiaomi Redmi K80 in disguise — a phone from their sibling company that shares almost all the specs with it. There’s a 6.67” OLED screen here, TCL made it with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh speeds, but there’s something way more exciting going on with its internals.
This is an ordinary upper mid-tier phone, and that’s exactly why hearing about the prospect of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at its helm seems too good to be true. But since the Redmi K80 has this chip, this just keeps looking more and more possible for the Poco F7 Pro.
There will be a 90W charge support here, and reports say it will recharge the battery of the Xiaomi latest Poco model in incredibly short durations. It’s still fast enough, but a downgrade nonetheless, because the old F6 Pro has 120W PD 3.0 QC3+ that can do 100% in under 20 minutes.
Poco F7 Pro will start directly at Hyper OS 2.0 built around an Android 15 system, and move up from there, as they ping it with more updates. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will have no problems handling this OS, and hopefully, it will be an excellent experience for us end-users.
