Xiaomi Poco F7 Pro Secures TDRA Certification; Headed for UAE Among Other Regions

Poco’s new F series will deploy globally. The proof: multiple certification platforms indexing the Poco F7 and F7 Pro. UAE’s TDRA is the latest to approve one of the handsets, so things are looking up for the series’ Middle Eastern launch. These are the details we found.

TDRA has listed Poco F7 Pro in its database, and assigned the code “24117RK2CG.” It did reveal the name and the serial tag together, so the previous certifications with unspecified model numbers also got confirmation today. The same model number appeared in Singapore’s IMDA and GSMA’s IMEI databases.

That confirms another major market slated for the Poco F7 Pro debut. But what about the new Poco F7 Ultra? We hear that Xiaomi might unveil it in the USA. The region’s technology and communication watchdog FCC already cleared this phone for a debut last month.

In typical Poco fashion, all three Xiaomi's new flagships are coming as rebranded Redmi devices. The Chinese Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will change its appearance and switch the nameplate to Poco F7. The F7 Pro and F7 Ultra might be rebranded Redmi K80 and K80 Pro from China.

Xiaomi will deploy the Redmi devices under the Poco flag to reach international markets. The new Redmi K80 also hints at Poco F7 Pro specs. This phone debuted in China with an OLED 6.67” 120Hz panel and scored a full 2K resolution.

Redmi K80 is based on Android 15, pulling the load with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The camera setup is a 50 MP (main) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 20 MP (selfie) sensor. K80 has an ultrasonic fingerprint, a 6550mAh battery, and 90W power delivery.
