Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra Flexes Snapdragon 8 Elite Power in Geekbench's AI Test

Xiaomi has yet to release its Poco F7 series, though the timeline seems pretty close if the company followed its previous schedule. The old Poco F6 came in May last year, and the F7 lineup could do the same thing. There are three devices in the works this year: the standard Poco F7, the F7 pro, and an Ultra variant. Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra was seen on Geekbench recently, and this is what we found.

It’s the Geekbench AI test, though we suppose it gives just as much information about the device as any other single and multicore chipset tests. The first thing you see in the scoresheet is the Poco F7 Ultra’s model number, which is 24122RKC7G. Of course, the “G” in the serial code means it’s a globally awaited device.

You might be wondering why there’s no product name on this benchmark. Well, following the device model number through the internet, we also found a certification, which associated the code here with a Poco F7 Ultra. The specs are another clue that it is the Ultra variant.

It’s obvious from the core configuration that the chipset used here is a Snapdragon 8 Elite and no other. After all, it’s the only mobile platform capable of putting out 4.32 GHz clock speed. On the very same listing, we even found that the highest-end latest Poco Xiaomi mobile trim will bring 16 GB of physical RAM.

Of course, its 16 GB RAM is part of the reason why the Snapdragon 8 Elite yields such a high score in the Geekbench AI test. There are 2667 points in the single precision test and 2645 points in the half-precision benchmark. The quantized compute scores on this handset were 4866, which is quite effective for a mobile chip.

An Android 15 system on a Snapdragon 8 Elite should fly, though we are curious to see how it handles the Hyper OS 2 UI for the Poco F7 Ultra. There’s also a question of whether the phone will take advantage of the SoC’s raw AI power with built-in AI features. All our questions will be answered in time.

The Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra was also seen in some leaks earlier where its display, charging, and camera were also spilled. There’s a possibility that the Poco F7 Ultra brings a 50 MP main camera, joined by a 6.67” 2K 120Hz OLED panel and a 6000mAh battery. Rumors also say that Poco F7 Ultra might be a rebranded Redmi K80 Pro, but don’t color your opinions just yet. We now wait for more sources to confirm the details, which should happen any minute now. Stay tuned for more updates.
