Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra Spotted on IMEI Database; First ‘Ultra’ Phone from the Series

IMEI directory has landed a new entry for a prospect phone called Poco F7 Ultra, and it will sit right above the F7 Pro that’s been in the leaks and rumors for a long stretch. “Pro” phones are usually where the F series ends but this will be a new assortment as they plan an Ultra model for the first time.

An X leaker first saw it and was then noticed by GizmoChina. They assigned it a model code ‘24122RKC7G,’ and this listing clearly marked its title as Poco F7 Ultra. The name might be new here, but the assigned code is all too familiar for people like us who keep track of Xiaomi phones.

Redmi K80 (China) has the same 24122RKC7G model number, and by correlation, we suspect that they may have only rebranded it as a Poco phone to launch it internationally. That’s also why we can look at the Redmi K80 to know what to expect from Xiaomi's Ultra Poco phone

They want to use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Redmi K80, so it’s already landed in the flagship tier, and we haven’t even mentioned the display yet. There’s a flat 2k TCL-made OLED for K80, as the reports have claimed many times.

We might eventually see a big 6500mAh cell at the hull of the Redmi K80, even bigger than what we had in the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. There’s still some time before they launch the Redmi K80 or Poco F7 Ultra, and because the Snapdragon 8 Elite is coming in these few days, Xiaomi might even use that new chip instead of the outdated 8 Gen 3 for both these phones.
