You all know the Poco M series, right? Well, we hear there’s a new model that’s to emerge from it soon. The Title is ‘Poco M6 Plus 5G.’ Tech reporters like us have known the M6 family since August last year. There was one Poco M6 Pro 5G, M6 Pro 4G, and a Poco M6. But the M6 Plus 5G hits our radar now. And we believe it finds its rank somewhere among them.
BIS gave it a spot long ago on their index. But Google Play Console stepped up some moments ago and gave it a slot under model ‘24065PC95I.’ They revealed much about it. That serial number you see, because it starts with 2406, foreshadows a launch within June. 24th June might be it, but that’s only speculation.
GPC index tattled on the phone with much more than the model number. 1080p screen is coming with M6 Plus. We found a section on the document with hints about a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. GPC says there is about 8 GB RAM to help the engine with multiple tasks. So, that’s a solid addition.
Those specs remind us of the old Poco M6 Pro 5G. GPC laid out the facts about its internals. Still, there’s a possibility that Xiaomi Poco 5G latest mobile has some other features that are different from the original phone. Folks from the leak-verse believe their M6 Plus is only a rebranded Redmi Note 13R.
But if we were to believe in that scenario. There must be Dimensity 6100+. It should host a 50MP first rear camera. IPS 720p LCD @90Hz must be its display specifications. But there’s more chance that it isn’t a rebranded phone. But a device made from scratch.
