Xiaomi Poco M6 Plus 5G Shows up on Geekbench with 6GB RAM & Snapdragon 4 Gen 2

There’s a refresher on the horizon for Poco’s M family. They’ve been working on the POCO M6 Plus 5G under wraps. But its test on Geekbench has exposed it with fine details. We learned about its internals, serial code, chipset, and RAM in one fell swoop. You ought to know about M6 Plus because it’s an interesting one.

We know ‘24066PC95I’ is the model number for Poco M6 Plus 5G. Geekbench wasn’t clear on the name, but we recognized that code from one of the older GPC listings. That’s how we knew it was Poco M6 Plus 5G. But that’s not the end of the story.

Like it always does, Geekbench gave the phone multi and solo-core scores and spilled the tea on some of its specs. That’s where all the rumors start making sense. They say Poco has just rebadged the Redmi 13 5G as Poco M6 Plus. And the Geekbench report makes these rumors all the more believable.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC is what Redmi 13 5G has. We know from Geekbench that the Xiaomi Poco's new 5G model has the same one. And yes, 6 GB RAM is one more hint that it mimics Redmi 13 5G. That mix of moderate RAM cap and SD 4 Gen 2 led to a score of 967 on single and 2281 on multi-core tests.

Even if their M6 Plus is secretly a Redmi 13 5G in disguise, that phone itself isn’t half bad. We heard from one of the reports that the Poco M6 Plus is doing 108 MP shots with its back camera. And it will snap 13 MP selfies with that front sensor. So far, it’s shaping up to be a solid entry-level phone.
