Xiaomi Poco M6 Unveils Globally; Helio G91 Ultra, 108MP Camera, Android 14 HyperOS

We suppose it’s early for it. But, they’ve silently unveiled Poco M6 on their global link. Their platform has all its specs and features listed on a product page. And they threw a teaser on X some moments ago. And there was a mention of M6’s price. We thus have all the ammo we need for one of our classic feature breakdowns.

Poco M6 is your average middle-of-the-pack phone, and it plays safe. IPS 6.79” FHD+, 550 nits brightness, all good features, but not great. There’s a quick 90Hz refresh rate. So fast animations are possible. And we know the panel has a 13 MP camera stuck inside that hole punch area.

But don’t dismiss that rear-side camera configuration because of its status yet. There is a 108 MP first shooter with the M6 commanding the photography. And then, there’s a 2 MP macro camera that adds more dimension. That flash is ordinary. But in the shape of a ring.

Android 14 HyperOS handles the soft side of things. We’ve come to know the Helio G91 Ultra as an avid chip. But it should get along with HyperOS just fine (with minor stutters here and there). 8GB max RAM option and 256 GB storage are possible with the Xiaomi latest budget Poco mobile. Then they’ve placed a 5030 mAh power source in it that relays energy everywhere.

By the way, Poco M6 is much cheaper than others at the same level. Their 8/256 GB option for this phone has a $149 (~PKR 42,000) price tag. But buyers can go much cheaper than this with 6/128 GB. And that would only cost $129 (~PKR 36,000).
