Xiaomi Poco has been silent lately, likely due to the surge promulgated by Xiaomi Note 12 series. Poco finally breaks the silence by teasing its upcoming sequel, Xiaomi Poco X5 and X5 Pro. In addition, rumors about the X5 Pro's specs and design are picking up the pace again. Pro's live image has also leaked. Here's everything we know so far.
Starting it off with Poco's latest teaser, we didn't find any mobile phone graphics on the banner, just a punkish character holding an obscured Poco X5 mobile with a tagline saying, "Are You Ready To Unleash Your Rebel?" That isn't much to go on. On the other hand, recent leaks have painted a pretty vivid picture of the X5 Pro.
Peeking at its live image, X5 Pro is a look-alike of one of Xiaomi's Note 12 models, especially when looking at the camera. That isn't strange since it's Poco's routine to borrow designs from its partner brand. Its users will find a triple camera setup in a typical Poco accented fashion on a yellow chassis.
If its recent certification listings are any indication, Poco is ready, and X5 pro launch is approaching at light speed. Based on leaks, the New X Xiaomi Mobile allegedly holds a 108MP primary camera, a 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED screen, and a Snapdragon 778G processor under the hood. The SoC X5 Pro begets is an old yet powerful platform with the flagship integrated graphics unit Adreno 642.
Undoubtedly, the primary motive of the X5 Pro, based on the SoC and the teaser, is gaming. Also, the 108MP camera on the phone clearly indicates its ambitions to become a flagship killer. Poco handsets are always high in value for money, and this model follows suit. In addition to the Poco lineup, the Redmi series is also expected to receive the 12C soon at an affordable cost similar to the Redmi mobile 10C's price.
