After weeks of excitement, Xiaomi has officially removed the curtains off its POCO X6 series, introducing two new devices within the mid-range segment. The lineup consists of a regular POCO X6 and a beefier POCO X6 Pro, both offering top-notch features and reasonable price tags.

Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro

The Poco X6 Pro is slightly better of the two, equipped with the Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC under the hood. The processor has flagship-grade performance, giving the device a smooth user experience. Paired with up to 12GB of RAM and a generous 512GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage, the X6 Pro handles heavy loads without effort.

Featuring a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the Poco X6 Pro provides a fluid and immersive visual experience. The HyperOS, making its international debut, adds a layer of sophistication to the software department, setting the POCO series apart.

The camera setup on the X6 Pro also includes a flagship-grade 64MP primary sensor, assisted by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro lens. With color options in Gray, Black, and Yellow, the X6 Pro goes official at $325 (~PKR 91,000) for the 8/256 GB variant and $349 (~PKR 98,000) for the 12/512 GB variant.

Xiaomi POCO X6

The POCO X6 mirrors its Pro counterpart in display specifications, sporting a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Surprisingly, it houses a slightly larger 5100 mAh battery, ensuring a good overall battery life with 67W charging support.

Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, the X6 provides high-performance capabilities, complemented by up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB of storage. HyperOS, based on Android 14, remains consistent in both devices.

The Poco X6 maintains a similar camera configuration to its Pro variant, offering a 64MP primary sensor with 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lenses. Available in Black, Blue, and White, the X6 hits the global shelves at $265 (~PKR 72,000) for the base model and $300 (~PKR 84,000) for the top-end 12/256 GB variant.
