Poco’s upcoming mid-ranger is causing a lot of commotion on the web these days. Not long ago, we saw the Poco X7 5G in some leaked renders from where the speculation began about it being a rebranded Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. A tipster on X has now confirmed that it might be true.
Early renders showed the X7 5G’s design mimicking the Redmi Note 14 Pro. We now learn that these phones even share the specifications from Paras Guglani’s recent leak on X. He also gave away a promo render for the phone, which confirms its design again.
Poco X7 5G Global should debut with a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip, the same as Redmi Note 14 Pro. The expandable RAM will boost its memory up to 24 GB, the base physical RAM will be 12 GB and the storage might be up to 512 GB in one of the premium options.
It might also front a 6.67” AMOLED screen curved on the sides with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its resolution will be higher than 1080p, or what the industry calls 1.5K. There’s also a possibility for 3000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision rating, if it follows the Redmi Note 14 Pro specs.
Poco X7 5G might have a 5110 mAh battery rated for 1600 cycles, almost twice the industry-standard charging cycles for smartphone batteries. It should also support a 45W fast input as a backup. This phone is supposed to have a flagship-grade IP68 rating plus TUV’s Eye care certification.
The AMOLED panel will have Gorilla Glass Victus 2, an under-screen fingerprint ID, and a 20 MP selfie camera in the hole punch. Its rear main camera is allegedly a 50 MP sensor with OIS stabilization. Poco X7 5G might be a one-to-one replica of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.
