Xiaomi’s Poco X7 lineup will debut worldwide on January 9th, and with so little time left to the deadline, Poco decided to reveal some key specs and prices to build the hype. We know that Xiaomi wants to debut at least two devices: the Poco X7 Pro and the X7. An online event will be held for their announcement at Mi.com.
Interesting fact: despite the rumors saying the X7 Pro is identical to the Chinese Redmi Turbo 4, their batteries aren’t the same size. It might have something to do with safety clearances across borders. In its home market China, it scored a 6550mAh battery, but the Poco X7 Pro in global markets will be capped at 6000mAh (per the teasers).
Poco X7 Pro retains the wired 90W HyperCharge across the board, in China and globally. Another prominent detail Poco tipped already is the SoC, a Dimensity 8400 Ultra, for X7, and X7 Pro. The non-Pro mounts two cameras on the back (50MP + 8MP), and the Pro has a third, probably a telephoto.
Of course, AI is a big part of their promotion campaign. AI Film, AI Erase Pro, and AI Image Expansion are some highlighted features Xiaomi's latest 5G mobile will have on its Android 15 Hyper OS 2.0 UI. Most of its details aren’t official, though we anticipate the Pro with AMOLED 6.77” 1.5k, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 7i (since it’s a Redmi Turbo 4 rehash).
Among other details, X7 Pro’s price tag has stirred the pot, as it’s expected to cost $350 (~PKR 97,000). But it will cost way less in China, around $275. The base X7 will be priced under those figures, though the exact number remains elusive. A few days are left till the launch, so more information must be around the corner.
