Redmi 13 5G is about to hit the stage. We’ve been hearing about this one for long. But we couldn’t get our hands on the fine details of it until now. An old Amazon listing and teasers from the past meld into a solid spec roster for the next Redmi budget king.
9th July is the day of its official release. And it is getting closer with each day passing. Almost all of its details are out, save the pricing. We know that it’s a 5G make. The processor they went with is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. This one’s a cheap entrant to the 5G race.
That design goes back to the Redmi 12 series, nothing new, just a Ring flash, two blacked-out silos holding depth and prime sensors. And that flat chassis it shows off is all but new. It at least has glass back plates, so there’s hope for it still. Light Blue and Light Pink are the choice colors chosen for Redmi 13.
Again, it’s a budget phone, so don’t go hoping for some high-end stuff there. IPS LCD at a 6.7” flat display is all. There may be a high refresh rate, but we can’t say with certainty. What we can be sure about is the Gorilla Glass 3 protection the Xiaomi 5G new mobile has.
Here’s a bit about cameras, performance, and storage. Redmi 13 5G does basic 50 MP shots rearwards and 8 MP for selfies. 5030 mAh battery does the job, and there’s 33W charging. That product listing foreshadowed two storage pairs. 6/128 GB for starters, and the other bumped to 8/256 GB.
