Xiaomi is eying more opportunities in the entry-level segment as rumors indicate an impending arrival of the Xiaomi Redmi 13. Continuing the tradition of offering mid-range specs at wallet-friendly prices, this new addition to the Redmi lineup has been visiting international certifiers. And the latest to clear this device are IMDA and EEC.

Dubbed with the model number 2404ARN45A, this variant of the Redmi 13 seems tailored for markets in Latin America. While specifics on hardware remain a mystery, the FCC certification spills the beans on a hearty 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The battery specs alone are a surefire indication of its entry-level positioning within the market. Peeking under the hood, rumors hint at a MediaTek Helio G88 processor powering the Redmi 13. While it may not boast the latest 5G tech, the Helio G88 still delivers respectable performance and efficiency, thanks to its 6nm manufacturing process.

With the codename "Moon" floating around, whispers suggest an imminent launch in the Indian market, with whispers of the Xiaomi new budget 4G model possibly trotting in some regions as the POCO M6. It wouldn't be out of character considering POCO's penchant for rebranding Redmi devices.

People eagerly await further details, but one thing's for sure: the Redmi 13 is poised to make a splash upon its debut. With certifications piling up, the countdown to launch has officially begun. The Redmi Turbo 3 will also go official soon as an affordable flagship with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. So, keep your eyes peeled for Redmi 13 and more.
