They have rolled out the Xiaomi Redmi 14C after quite the build-up. The debut was in Vietnam yesterday as a global device. It rules the entry-level segment with a 6.88" massive screen at 120Hz. That design is alluring enough and grabs attention. Best of all, Redmi 14C won’t empty the wallets of its buyers.

Everything fits well here. What we have first is a 6.88" 720p LCD on top. There's a peak refresh rate of 120Hz. Its UI must feel faster and smoother because of it. Not only does it have a 600 nits HBM. But there's also a TUV certificate here for Low Blue Light, Flicker Free Screen.

MTK Helio G81 Ultra, an overclocked version of the forgotten Helio G80, will be plenty for your light daily tasks. Xiaomi Hyper OS and HD+ won't take many resources to run smoothly. So there won't be as much lag or stutter, but don't expect to be perfect.

18W fast PD charging is perhaps one of its better qualities, but there won't be a charger in the box. Xiaomi went with a 5160mAh battery here. There's a 50 MP camera on the back and an extra lens at the flank. Then we have a 13 MP selfie shooter under a U-notch screen cutout on the front of Xiaomi's 4G new mobile.

Its system can use up to 8 GB RAM and as high as 256 GB storage. Face unlock and fingerprint unlock are also available here. And for all this, the price is very justifiable. Xiaomi Redmi 14C in its 4/128 GB config costs $130 (~PKR 36,000) or $163 (~PKR 45,000) if you spring for 8/256GB.
