Another budget phone is due from the Chinese company. Xiaomi Redmi 14C is about to launch. Come 31st August, it will debut in Vietnam, though a local retailer spilled all its details ahead of it. This is what you need to know about Xiaomi Redmi 14C.
There’s a fresh look and a new build here. The focal point of this year’s design might be its Blue color. We see a white-to-blue gradient and a glossy finish on the back, and it’s very premium-looking. Still, from the front, it’s nothing but a conservatively cheap IPS display.
Redmi 14C’s front is home to a 6.88” IPS LCD. There is HD+ 720p resolution, but it refreshes at a fast 90Hz rate. Then we have a U-notch at the front and chunky bezels on all sides; nothing too intrusive, but it does feel outdated. Its rear end is a different story.
The Xiaomi upcoming 4G mobile has a round crater at the center with quad silos, and they populated two of them with a 50 MP primary and an unknown secondary unit. But the third one is only a flash — still more functional than the decorative fourth piece. Blue unit aside, there are Green (vegan leather + gold accents) and Black glass finishes.
A 5,160mAh battery will keep the hardware running, and up to 18W fast charge support shall provide backup here. Redmi 14C puts a Helio G91 Ultra chip at work with as high as 8 GB RAM. Plus, the retailer confirmed it with a sole 128 GB option. Everything about this device is out, but not the price. We will verify that as soon as the phone launches.
