Xiaomi is all set to introduce the Redmi 9A to the Pakistani market on July 15 via a flash sale on its Mistore. The teaser reveals an attractive Xiaomi price tag and the sale time which begins at 9 PM sharp. With each purchase, Xiaomi will also be throwing in a free pair of Mi In-ear Headphones Basic. Here are the details.
Featuring a 6.53" notched HD+ screen, the Redmi 9A has a modern aspect ratio and narrow bezel profile. To protect your eyes from strain, the display uses a low blue light filter. The shell has round edges, a polished but textured design that keeps it from becoming a fingerprint magnet.
The mono 13MP rear redmi camera resides inside a compact 9A camera housing, stylized by a decorative element running throughout the device's length.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9A camera uses AI algorithms for portrait mode, face recognition, scene detection, and AI Beautify. The rear camera also supports PDAF and the 'Kaleidoscope Effect.' The front-facing camera has a more modest 5MP sensor behind it.
Underneath the Redmi 9A hood, there's a 5,000 mAh Xiaomi battery with 34-day standby, hooked up to the entry-level MediaTek Helio G25 processor — augmented further with the 'HyperEngine.' The battery charges over a micro-USB port with 10W charging support. There isn't a fingerprint reader, but you can secure your device with 'Face Unlock.'
The chipset is coupled with an underwhelming 2GB + 32GB memory and storage configuration, but it is expandable with a dedicated 2+1 card slot. Xiaomi ships it with the MIUI 12 (built on Android 10), and it's available in three colors: Carbon Grey, Sunset Purple, and Ocean Green. The Redmi 9A starts from Rs. 14,599.
