We have something to share about Redmi A3 Pro that we found in its leaked Hyper OS source code. If you don't know the background, let us start by saying that the Redmi A3 Pro is the next suspected phone in their super-affordable catalog after the vanilla A3.
These models are usually light daily drivers with Android Go Editions. But, the A3 Pro may differ from all. Hyper OS source code first tells us that this model is Global. It won't only launch in China but also in other international markets.
The second hint of its launch trajectory is the model code itself. The letter 'G' in its official '2409BRN2CG' serial number is an obvious clue for that theory. Project 'Pond' is the hidden name they assigned to this phone, but the rumor mill suspects this one to be a Redmi A3 Pro.
Expectedly, this Xiaomi latest budget phone won't rely on a chip like Helio G36 or other low-end CPU. There's possibly an entry-to-mid-range chip that will help the phone escape the traditional Android Go and use a fuller version of Android OS.
Of course, they extracted all this info from Hyper OS source code, so it seems legit. In some other speculated claims, Redmi A3 Pro also has a remote possibility of a 13 MP primary camera. Also, it could be a $144 device, almost close to the tag of Redmi 14C.
