Redmi A4 5G was partially announced over a month ago, debuting the new Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip. But it still isn’t officially available in any region for open sales. At least they have now confirmed via teasers that the phone will redo the launch on November 20th and this time, it will be done properly.
Even though the launch date is finalized, only a few of its specifications are available for everyone to see. Its launch is on November 20th but there's no clue if a preorder window is involved. This is everything we know about Redmi A4 5G so far.
You already know what chipset it is using. The second big highlight of Redmi A4 is the 6.7” IPS panel which has an HD+ 720p resolution but more importantly, there’s a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen bezels are also uniform, and there’s a small U-notch to holster a selfie shooter.
It’s supposed to be the cheapest 5G-ready phone on the market and to make that a reality, they will cut corners. So, Redmi A4 5G will be sold in a 4/64 GB memory trim, probably with a 128GB storage alternative at the higher end. The alleged base price for this Xiaomi's 5G budget mobile will be around $100 (~PKR 27,000).
At least there’s no downside to the phone’s battery power. We have an uncommon 5160mAh cell inside the Redmi A4 that recharges via an 18W wired input. Also, you will get a 50 MP primary camera on the back, and a selfie camera with a decent 8MP resolution.
