Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 Appears on Google Play Console with SD 712 CPU

Xiaomi Redmi has a sore reputation for rebranding, re-hashing, and re-releasing old phones as new ones. And apparently, they are doing it again. In a recent Google Play Console listing, a device appeared under the “Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023” moniker. From the face of it, the device is a facsimile of the Redmi Note 10 Pro (released in early 2021).

The name suggests it’s a follow-up to Redmi Note 11 Pro (featuring G96 Helio SoC under the hood). The data mentioned in the console listing shows that a different processor is powering the Note 11 Pro 2023.

In the document under the section System on chip, GPC mentions Qualcomm SDM712, AKA Snapdragon 712 processor 2019. It’s an Octa-core chip based on 10nm fabrication and max clock speeds of 2.3GHz. The Adreno 616 GPU handles the graphic performance here. Impressive as it may sound, it’s not an improvement over Helio G96 on the 11 Pro 2022 model.

Furthermore, the successor is specified here with an FHD+ screen with 440ppi. Since the new addition to the Xiaomi price catalog has a form factor of the last year’s Note 10 Pro, the screen stats should also align. Namely, 120Hz refresh rate, 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, HDR10+, etc. The same might be true for optics.

Expectedly, Note 11 Pro 2023 will use a quad camera setup on the back. The primary lens encloses a 108MP sensor, the second one might be 8MP wide, and the rest will be Auxillary, depth, and Macro. Expect a 16MP selfie shooter inside the front punch hole.

As of now, it’s unclear whether the battery specs, charging speed, and storage configurations on Note 11 Pro 2023 will be the same as Note 10 Pro. So we have to wait for authorities to confirm the details. We’ll keep you updated if anything new comes up.
