Xiaomi's sub-brand has landed another sequel to their Redmi Note 11 line. A handset titled Note 11R 5G has appeared on Redmi's official landing page, opening pre-orders in China. After commencing sales in the home country, the phone will likely pass on to other regions. Here's a review of the newcomer's specs and design.

As it turns out, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R is familiar in terms of looks. It features a design borrowed from Poco M4 5G (unveiled a few months ago). There's a similar black accent spanning horizontally across the upper body. But instead of Poco, it has Redmi written on it.

Lcd isn't different either. It’s a 6.58-inch IPS display with a decent 2408 x 1080p or FHD+ resolution. With a sweet ~401 pixel density, the screen goes as fast as 90Hz and measures an 83.3% screen-to-body ratio. The top bar also conceals a 5MP selfie camera.

Under the shell, Redmi Note 11R bares a powerful 5G-enabled Dimensity 700 chipset. Based on a 7nm node, it has an integrated Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. For power, the CPU hooks up to a 5000mAh battery rated for 10W charging. The device is hefty, clocking in at 201 grams and 8.9mm thickness.

Aside from that beastly CPU, this device offers three storage options varying between 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with SD card support to expand them up to 512GB. Its back-mounted camera bare 13MP + 2MP sensors.

Color-wise, Redmi Note 11R brings Ice Crystal Galaxy, Mysterious Black Realm, and Polar Blue Ocean finishes. As far as the Xiaomi Smartphone price tags are concerned, the three variants 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB costs around PKR ~41,000 ($182), ~47,000 ($210) and ~53,000 ($238) respectively. We'll notify you if the brand chooses to launch it in Pakistan.
