Xiaomi's stage appearance for the successor of the Redmi Note 11 Series is just hours away. Three devices will grace the red carpet at the oncoming event: Redmi Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro Plus, and a new member dubbed Note 12 Explorer. Several official teasers are out revealing the key specs of the Pro model.
Ahead of the launch, we get a sneak peek at Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's display stats and design through an official teaser. Among the latest announcements from the giant's marketing team is that the phone has an OLED panel. The Pro variant won't pull the curved-edge design; users will find a flat screen with a top-centered camera cutout.
The OLED panel is not conventional, though. Redmi has used an alternate diamond-pixel arrangement to make visuals crisper on a 1080p screen. On top of that, the display has 1920Hz plus 10,000 levels of PWM Dimming to lessen the strain on your eyes while consuming media. Eye protection from blue rays is a bonus here.
While flaunting the design, the teaser reveals a set of speaker grilles on the top and bottom rim of Xiaomi's new Redmi model. According to the leaked spec sheet, the phone carries an IR blaster + microphone beside the top speaker and Type-C + 3.5mm Audio port down on the bottom.
Design-aside, the hardware manifest on the Note 12 Pro is also pretty impressive. Under its primary lens lies the trending 50MP SONY IMX766 sensor added with OIS support. A 5000mAh cell is standard throughout the lineup.
Among the lineup, the Pro variant juices the phone using a 67W charger, while the Pro Plus flaunts an apex 210W fast charging technology. Both models have a Dimensity 1080 Chipset under the deck.
