Redmi is prepping for yet another mid-range lineup release. This time it's from the brand's high-grade Note catalog. As a follow-up to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, the Note 12 series will be launching soon. Theories and speculations about the Note 12 line have already begun circulating online.
The most recent theory is from a notorious industrial tipster Digital Chat Station regarding rear cameras, screen design, and charging speeds on the coming Redmi phones. Here's how DCS describes it.
According to the re, a 50MP camera will act as the primary shooter on the Redmi Note 12 series. You will see two auxiliary sensors 8MP ultra-wide plus an unspecified 2MP. If what DCS claims is correct, then the charging speed will become the spotlight feature of Note 12 phones, and smartphone companies are looking at fierce competition up ahead.
Allegedly, the Note 12 lineup will bring a 120-watt Fast charging, which is currently exclusive to the flagships like Mi 12 Pro on the Xiaomi rate list. It advertises a 100% charge in under 20 minutes. Since it's a premium feature, only the high-end Pro Note 12 seems fit to support it.
Aside from the camera and charging specs, the tipster mentions flat-screen displays on all Note 12 phones, which isn't surprising given their mid-range status. The phone will feature a flat design with upright edges and sharp corners. Almost identical to the former Note 11 designs.
Specs listed here are speculations based solely on market conditions and trends. The details are yet to be confirmed by the brand. The series will likely include the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus based on the brand's usual Note lineup introduction.
